All choral singers in the area are invited to come have some late summer choral fun and sing through Mozart’s great masterwork, the Requiem, including the solo sections! Bring your own score or borrow one of ours, or just come and listen. Salisbury Singers Music Director Dr. Michelle Graveline will conduct a short rehearsal of the more challenging sections and after a break we will sing this exciting work straight through.

Salisbury Singers opens its 39th season with its annual concert featuring the extraordinary music of J. S. Bach. Works will include Cantata 71 God is My King, along with the Magnificat in D, with its superb mixture of intense organization and great lyrical beauty and an opening chorus that is one of the most breathtaking in all of Baroque music.

Salisbury Singers explores England’s grand choral tradition with “The British Are Coming!” This all-British program will spotlight the music of William Walton and Benjamin Britten. No other country has such a rich choral heritage as Great Britain, with its ringing sounds, rich harmonies and majestic organ accompaniments. Many Americans have been exposed to this thrilling music tradition through the broadcasts of English royal events such as royal weddings, funerals and jubilees. The Salisbury Singers will be joined by the Worcester Children’s Chorus, conducted by Jennifer Kane, with guest organist William Ness.
Salisbury Pops: Cinemagic

Salisbury Singers ends its season on a light note with a Pops concert featuring music from the movies. With pops-style table seating, refreshments, a wine tasting and silent auction, an enjoyable evening is planned so that the audience can relive the good times through sounds from the flicks!
