Singers conduct European tour

Following their celebrated performance of American Traditions — New and Old, members of Salisbury Singers and the Master Singers of Worcester crossed the pond to share their singing traditions with audiences in Europe. Traveling as the New England Festival Chorus, the combined chorus performed a repertoire of modern American and traditional European music at St. Ignac Church in Prague, St. Thomaskirche in Leipzig, and the Osterkirche in Berlin. Highlighting the program was “New England Journey,” a new multi-movement work by Vermont composer Gwyneth Walker that the group premiered in Worcester.
